Educational Benefits

Brown offers a range of educational benefits designed to support employees and their families in pursuing continued learning and academic goals. These programs include significant support for employees through the Employee Education Program (EEP), as well as assistance for dependent undergraduate tuition and student loan repayment. Together, these resources help make education more accessible and affordable.

The Employee Education Program (EEP) supports staff development tby providing financial assistance for eligible employees pursuing educational goals at Brown and other accredited institutions.
Brown University’s Tuition Aid Program (TAP) provides eligible faculty and staff with financial assistance toward undergraduate tuition costs for their eligible dependent child(ren) enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited institution.
Eligible dependents of Brown University employees qualify for an application fee waiver. If admitted to a Pre-College summer program, they may choose between a 20% non-taxable Employee Dependent Scholarship or a 50% partially taxable Employee Dependent Scholarship (with 30% considered taxable income to the Brown employee).
In partnership with TIAA, the Savi Student Debt Solution helps employees and their families manage student loan debt by simplifying repayment and identifying opportunities to reduce overall costs over time.
