Student Employees

At Brown University, we offer a wide range of exciting and challenging job opportunities for students. Working on campus gives students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and build skills for the future. Student Employment is here to support you in providing tools and resources to assist with student jobs on campus.

Work-Study

A Work-Study or Campus Employment award is a work opportunity, not an obligation. Aided and non-aided undergraduate students are eligible to work and apply for student jobs. Additional information about Federal Work-Study and Campus Employment can be found on the Office of Financial Aid website.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to Student Employment at student_employment@brown.edu with any questions or concerns.

New Employee Onboarding

Before you can begin working on campus, you will need to complete the federal Form I-9 and student onboarding tasks in Workday.

Once you submit the Form I-9 in Workday, you are required to present acceptable, original document(s) in person at the HR Service Center. Please refer to the list of acceptable documents for guidance.
