Brown University is committed to supporting staff and faculty as they grow their families. To help offset the costs associated with legally adopting a child, the University provides a one-time reimbursement of up to $5,000 per calendar year for eligible adoption-related expenses.

Brown University offers two discount programs designed to help faculty, staff and students save both locally and nationwide. Whether you're exploring Providence or planning travel and entertainment, these programs provide valuable savings on everyday purchases and experiences.

Qualified dependents of Brown University employees are eligible for an application fee waiver. If admitted to a Pre-College summer program, they may choose between a 20% non-taxable Employee Dependent Scholarship or a 50% partially taxable Employee Dependent Scholarship, with 30% of the award considered taxable income to the Brown employee.
