If you are interested in arranging group support for a team or department, please refer to the Critical Incident Support section under “Information for Supervisors."
After creating your account, you will complete a short online questionnaire (most people finish in under three minutes!). Based on your responses, you’ll receive a recommended care plan that may include therapy, coaching or self-guided resources.
This is not a diagnostic tool, and participation in any recommendations is completely optional. The goal is to provide flexible options that support your well-being.
You’ll also be matched with a Care Navigator, who can answer questions and help connect you with the right resources.
Services are available to:
Regular or fixed-term employees
Legal dependents age 6* and older
Coverage continues through COBRA after Brown employment ends.
Eligible dependents include:
Legal spouse
Biological, adopted or stepchildren up to the age of 26
Children under legal guardianship up to the age of 26
Unmarried disabled dependents of any age (if they were previously covered under one of the categories listed above and are unable to earn a living due to a mental or physical disability. To qualify, the dependent must have been enrolled in the plan before reaching age 26 and must be entirely dependent on the employee for support and maintenance)
* For children under age 6, Spring Health’s Referral Concierge can help identify appropriate resources.
Supervisors with questions about using the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to address performance concerns, or as a condition of continued employment, should contact the Employee and Labor Relations team at employeeandlaborrelations@brown.edu.
