University Human Resources

BEAR Day

Brown University celebrates staff in many ways each year, especially on BEAR Day where we all come together to celebrate staff reaching a milestone in years of service as well as those who have been selected for an Excellence Award.

We celebrate staff in three separate, very special ceremonies:

BEAR Day 2025: Save The Date

Brown University celebrates staff in many ways, especially on BEAR Day when we all come together to recognize the incredible work and achievements we have accomplished as a university community each year. BEAR Day is an opportunity to celebrate each other and acknowledge our significant impact at Brown University. Join us on March 26, 2025, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. for a celebration of YOU!

All staff are invited to a ceremony and reception featuring remarks from senior leaders, recognition of our Excellence Award and Service Award recipients, the annual BEAR Day video, refreshments, and music. We hope you will join us for this truly upbeat, festive celebration of staff! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact ldeteam@brown.edu.
