The Transit Account allows eligible employees to contribute up to $270 per month (calendar year 2026) for eligible work-related non-RIPTA mass transit expenses, including:
- MBTA commuter rail, subway and bus services
- Other non-RIPTA public transportation options used for commuting to work
The Parking Account allows eligible employees to contribute up to $340 per month (calendar year 2026) for eligible work-related parking expenses, including:
- Parking at a commercial or non-Brown parking facility
- Parking at or near a transit station used for commuting to work
This benefit cannot be used for parking in Brown University-owned lots.
